4 month check-up

Well, Henry is definitely growing he is 26 inches tall (90%) 16 lbs 8 oz (90%) and 43cm head circumference (75%). The doctor said he is doing well and that we shouldn't tell anyone about how well he sleeps...HAHAHA because they would be jealous.

Life is good in the life of Henry Dean. He is starting to roll over more, wiggle to get to objects placed in front of him and loves to play with his Baby Einstein jumper...hasn't quite figured out that he can jump in it yet...but loves the toys and music/lights that happen when he is in the seat.

On a side note...RED has been acting very weird...really cuddly and protective....does this mean a BIG earthquake is coming??? He started acting this way just before we had the last big (4.3) one soooo....who knows, it's Red. And the lady that was taking my x-rays (teeth) said that someone was telling her that all the seals are gone in the bay...and the last time that happened was in 89 when the big quake hit S.F. Animals have a very cool way of telling that something is going to happen...if only they could TELL us (ok we don't listen to their small changes) that something big is going to happen.

2010!

Henry's eating...okay mostly just slobbering everywhere :)

Isn't he just cute?

His new Baby Einstein jumper...he loves it!!

The POD from Grandma...it helps him sit up straight :p

Belly time...and those BLUE EYES!!!

Wow...how 2009 pasted so fast. Brad, Henry, Red and I went back to Twin Falls for Christmas. We had a good time! Brad got to go hunting...not as often as he would have liked but still :) We drove over Donner pass in the evening...hoping to be a storm that was supposed to be coming. There was a snow floor but other than that it was a great drive. We stayed in good old Winnemucca for 5 whole hours and then got up and drove the rest of the way to Twin Falls. HENRY did awesome!! He is such a great traveler. We got to Twin and then the family time began. Henry got to meet his Great Grandparents (Champlin). It was fun to see them and get some pictures with them together. We hung out with Cousin Sarah and Alexis...and Aunti I (they also hadn't met Henry yet). Then a couple days later Stefanie Josh and Delilah came...Christmas Eve. Christmas was fun. We got Grandpa Poe with the grandkids :) first thing Christmas morning. We all got some good gifts (Henry and Delilah were spoiled :)..go figure). We all hung out and ate too much food :)

After Christmas we started thinking about Stefanie & Josh's wedding on the 29th. We started running around trying to get the last minute things together. The wedding was a success :) Josh's boys came down from Post Falls and we hung out play wii games. They had a good time, I think. Then...

Brad and Les went to the Humanitarian Bowl -GO VANDALS- Henry and I traveled to Boise with them but it was too cold for a baby :) We stayed at Pat & Char's hotel room and watched the game with Amanda (she wasn't feeling too good either). It was a great time...spending time with family and watching the Vandals pull out another nail biter WIN!

Then we traveled back to Twin that night and we hung out. We went bowling for New Years. Then we spent New Years day packing the pick-up (trying to fit everything into the back). And then on the 2nd we drove back to San Jose. Henry and Red are such good travelers...we made it to Donner pass in no time :) but then we got stuck in traffic...RIDICULOUS!! People were driving on the side of the road (thinking it magically went from 3 lanes to 4 all of a sudden). Brad did great but also got very annoyed. We stopped for some subway and then made it home about 10...oh and of course we stopped at Cabellas (who wouldn't stop when you are driving right by). Brad couldn't think of anything he just had to have (to spend his gift certificate) but we got Henry a little camp chair (that fits up to 75lbs).

Henry is now not SLEEPING when we go out....He wants to be awake and see everything! He is getting so BIG. We go to the dr. on wednesday for his 2nd round of immunizations and his 4 month well-check up. He has started eating foods now. He has gotten so much better at swallowing. He eats them best in the late afternoon. He has tried bananas, pears, prunes, sweet potatoes, and carrots...and of course rice cereal.

Sorry I haven't been better at posting...hopefully I will get better! Thanks for looking us up!
